Position Summary

The System Analyst will join NEO’s growing central operations and play an integral role in NEO’s Salesforce Team.  This role will support the Assistant Director of Grants Management & Compliance and Sr. Salesforce Analyst. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Salesforce NPSP as a certified Salesforce administrator. The candidate should have strong project management skills and should be flexible and capable of multitasking. This position will work closely with the Operation Department and various program departments. This position is overtime-exempt.

Key Job Functions

  • Serve as a member of NEO’s Salesforce Team and actively participate in NEO’s Salesforce initiatives.
  • Provide daily support for NEO’s Salesforce NPSP environment, including grantee and project portals (communities) and third-party applications.
  • Provide troubleshooting and address day-to-day Salesforce inquires.
  • Handle the Form Assembly templates and connectors for proposals and reports in the grantee portal, and troubleshoot related issues.
  • Update various Salesforce templates and support the mapping process, including Apsona.
  • Ensure the integrity of data through cyclical health checks.
  • Provide support for new & existing staff orientation and training to the Salesforce system.
  • Provide support to the Salesforce team in creating training materials.
  • Handle all basic administrative functions, including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks.
  • Support management with liaison functions for users, vendors, and development consultants.
  • Perform any related responsibilities and/or projects as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certification strongly preferred
  • Two (2) to three (3) year’s-experience as a Salesforce.com administrator
  • Knowledge and understanding of philanthropy, nonprofit, corporate social responsibility, or public service experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of the grant-making process
  • Experience with Salesforce NPSP, Communities, and Outbound Fund Module (OFM)
  • Experience with Salesforce third-party applications, including but not limited to Apsona, Form Assembly, and DocuSign
  • Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in dynamic relationship management
  • Responsive and proactive working style
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Mission-driven and passionate about social justice and nonprofit work
  • Demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality

Benefits

Compensation for this role will vary depending on the experience of the candidate. The salary range for this position is $75,000 – $87,000 per year. NEO provides generous benefits, which includes medical, dental, vision, life, long term disability, and pet insurance.
