Lighting in a Bottle: Building Lasting Growth from Viral Moments

NEO Philanthropy is proud to collaborate on the release of “Lighting in a Bottle: Building Lasting Growth from Viral Moments.”  A case study of how to leverage viral moments to raise money, diversify revenue, communicate values-forward messages, organize communities and build power, the report was commissioned by the Evelyn and Walter Haas, Jr. Fund and the LeadersTrust.  Its purpose is to lift up leadership and movement building and serve as a resource for leaders who are a creating a world that is loving, sustainable and just.

NEO’s Robert Bray, communications director, joined noted fundraising and philanthropic consultant/trainer Marjorie Fine, and principle author Adela de la Torre, to craft a dramatic story and useful toolkit on how organizations can better align and coordinate their communications, development, policy/advocacy and organizing functions.  The case study focuses on immigration groups National Immigration Law Center and the Inland Coalition for Immigrant Justice, but really has lessons applicable to any non-profit looking for ways to innovate, raise funds, communicate values and thrive.

Such lessons are particularly important in this digital age when the way people connect to the causes and issues they care about has radically shifted.  Is your organization ready to seize the moment and capture the lightning when its time comes? Read Lighting in a Bottle to learn how.
