Isabelle Nichols

Isabelle brings a strong passion for social justice and a background in direct service to NEO Philanthropy. Prior to joining NEO, she served as a case manager for a human services nonprofit in Boston conducting outreach and advocacy using a community-based approach for adults diagnosed with major-mental illness. In this role she provided direct counseling and crisis-management services to her clients while simultaneously developing individualized treatment plans and conducting clinical assessments under state-mandated guidelines. Isabelle graduated magna cum laude from Northeastern University where she studied Psychology and Law & Public Policy. During this time she participated in an intensive social entrepreneurship program at Ganesha University located in the city of Singaraja in Bali, Indonesia, where she worked with a team of American and Balinese students to develop the framework for a community based nonprofit organization focusing on the issue of high adolescent suicide rates in the city.
