Kate O’Hara

Originally from Arlington, Virginia, Kate comes to the Four Freedoms FundTM at NEO Philanthropy after completing a Master’s Degree in Theory and Practice of Human Rights across the pond at the University of Essex. Kate’s first foray into the non-profit world began in 2004 when she interned at Ashoka – an experience that ignited her desire to help others through philanthropic work. Her understanding of the need for immigrant rights and reform developed at an early age when witnessing family and friends struggling through the immigration process. Personally, she loves to travel and explore places near and far.
