Kelsey Wheeler

As Systems Coordinator at NEO Philanthropy, she will be implementing and maintaining technology systems for staff to use to increase efficiency in their work. Prior to joining NEO Philanthropy, Kelsey moved throughout the United States to follow her passion for service and social justice. She completed an AmeriCorps service term in Miami, Florida with a national service nonprofit, City Year. In this role, she was a tutor and mentor for middle school students in one of the lowest funded schools in the district. She also completed another AmeriCorps service term in Seattle, Washington where she helped to build the capacity of a small education nonprofit through system development, documentation and community relationship building. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Molecular and Cell Biology. Outside of work, she enjoys running, playing and following women’s basketball, traveling and cooking.
