Laura Henderson

Laura joins NEO Philanthropy after working in poverty alleviation and social enterprise. In five years working with The Bowery Mission, Laura developed a broad knowledge of nonprofit administration, helping to launch a captive foundation and to grow programmatic collaborations through Rescue Alliance NYC. Laura earned her M.Ed. in Community Development & Action from Vanderbilt University. While studying in Nashville, Laura worked on the launch team for Thistle Farms Global, forming partnerships with social enterprises employing women survivors of violence and poverty around the world. She is an amateur songwriter and mom to two rescue dogs and a cat.
