Lisa Versaci

Lisa Versaci has 20 years of experience in the civic engagement field. Prior to joining NEO Philanthropy as the Director of the State Infrastructure Fund, Lisa served as the Managing Director of Committee on States, an association of state-based progressive investors and institutional partners who are committed to building state-based networks of organizations dedicated to advancing progressive change. Through her consulting firm, FLX Communications, Lisa has specialized in organizational planning, program design and fundraising for non-profit organizations and foundations. Previous clients include the Florida Alliance, the Tides Election Administration Fund, the Non-profit Finance Fund, the Anaphiel Foundation and the Democracy Alliance. From 2001-2005, Lisa served as Director of the National Venture Fund at the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, and was responsible for developing investment strategies in the areas of community and economic development, civic engagement and the arts. Previously, Lisa served as Vice President and Florida Director for People For the American Way Foundation, and the Florida Development Coordinator for EMILY’s List.
