Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Reyna’s passion for social justice and immigrant rights was sparked at an early age due to her family’s experience of coming to the U.S. undocumented from Mexico. Prior to her role at NEO, she taught English in Georgia, Egypt and Turkey. These life changing experiences inspired Reyna to complete her Master’s degree in International Relations and European Studies at Central European University in Budapest, Hungary. In her free time, Reyna loves to cook all types of cuisine and especially loves to recreate foods she tried during her travels.
