Prior to joining NEO Philanthropy, Sarah served as a program administrator for a youth advocacy nonprofit providing an alternative to incarceration program for juveniles. She began her juvenile justice work conducting assessments in detention centers around NYC advocating for clients in Family and Supreme Court, and building relationships with judges and attorneys. Prior to that, Sarah traveled throughout Latin America volunteering and researching the intersection between national identity building and the preservation of indigenous cultures. Outside of NEO, Sarah is an avid traveler, Ultimate Frisbee player, and live music aficianado.
