Madeleine Hardie

Prior to joining NEO Philanthropy, Madeleine worked with NYU for seven years doing finance and grants management in various areas of the university, including Arts & Science, the College of Dentistry, and Global Programs. She has managed a diverse portfolio of sponsored projects ranging from multi-center NIH grants for cancer research, to private foundation grants for market-based development initiatives in Africa. Madeleine holds a Master’s in Public Administration with a specialization in Public and Nonprofit Finance from NYU Wagner. For her final Capstone project, she completed a nine-month consultancy, assisting a national affordable housing solutions organization create their internal grants and finance reporting dashboards. Her professional interests include nonprofit finance, organizational management, business intelligence and analytics, poverty alleviation, and social justice.
