Salma Hammouda

Salma joined NEO Philanthropy as a former AmeriCorps member. Working on the Employment Opportunity Project, she assisted attorneys with efforts to grant former criminals opportunities to work. Prior to her work with AmeriCorps, Salma worked extensively with Centers Plan for Healthy Living, providing poverty-stricken senior citizens with managed long-term care in their homes. Salma is passionate about civil liberties and human rights issues. She earned her B.A in International Relations at Monmouth University and is pursuing her Master’s in Public Administration at the City College of New York. When she is not in the office, Salma enjoys traveling and cooking new meals for her family.
