Salma returns to NEO as the Operations Manager for the State Infrastructure Fund. Previously, she served as the Contracts and Finance Manager at Freedman Consulting, where she oversaw contract management and grant processes. Prior to that, Salma honed her skills as the Operations Associate at the State Infrastructure Fund at NEO Philanthropy, managing grants and facilitating RFP processes for initiatives focused on voting rights and civic engagement.

In addition to her contributions in the nonprofit sector, Salma also played a key role in the Employment Opportunity Project, supporting initiatives aimed at providing employment opportunities for individuals with criminal backgrounds. With a deep commitment to civil liberties and human rights, Salma earned her B.A in International Relations from Monmouth University and her Master’s in Public Administration from the City College of New York.

When she is not in the office, Salma enjoys traveling and cooking new meals for her family.
