Fiscal Sponsorship
NEO is nimble, flexible, and brings values-aligned skills and expertise to each project partner.
Project Partnerships
We’re here for those who want to partner with an existing 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit that offers shared infrastructure for operations, financial management, and compliance.
As a fiscal sponsor, NEO provides nonprofit management infrastructure for individuals and projects running 501(c)(3) permissible, mission aligned programs. NEO handles financial, HR, and legal responsibilities so the project ream can focus on their mission-driven program. Our model goes beyond administration — we form true partnerships with the projects we support. Our fiscal sponsorship philosophy is rooted in responsiveness, clarity, transparency, and relationship building.
Project Partners at NEO benefit from a dedicated team of experts and a wide range of infrastructure supports delivered more affordably and flexibly than they could typically access on their own. All of our project partners share a commitment to social justice and social change. Our goal is to help bring operational agility, a deep expertise in nonprofit management, and a values aligned approach to compliance to help them maximize their impact.
Fiscal Sponsorship Infrastructure
NEO’s shared management infrastructure is designed to support medium to large scale projects focused on advocacy and movement building. We have a comprehensive fiscal sponsorship program that adapts to many different operational structures and supports growth and contraction throughout most phases of an organization’s lifecycle.
NEO’s administrative cost allocation rate is a fixed percentage that is reviewed annually and determined by on the infrastructure needs of the project for the duration of the calendar/fiscal year. Administrative cost allocations are a fixed percentage that is allocated from all incoming funds at point of receipt.

Our Team
NEO employs a team of non-profit administration efforts who enjoy creative problem solving with a human-centered approach. Each project is paired with a Partnership Manager who is the project’s primary contact and works with them on all of their operational needs. Projects with a large transaction volume may have one additional team member who works with them directly on transaction processing.
Eligibility and Considerations
NEO’s eligibility requirements are determined by our mission and infrastructure design. If you are on the cusp of our budget requirement and plan to grow to meet it within the first year, please feel free to fill out an inquiry form with detailed budget planning information.
